YOUR RESTING PLACE

For so long you have tried in your own strength to work things out,
to push your way through, and it has made you very weary, and has made you worn. 
I want to bring you to a place of rest.

  I am calling you to come forth into My rest. 
There is a rest I have prepared for you where you will cease from all your labor,
a place where you will cease from all your striving,
a place where things will no longer be difficult for you.

Let not your heart become harden as you feel Me tugging at your heartstrings when you stray,
Don’t fight against the trial and tribulations that I allow. 
Yes, I do allow trials and tribulations.  Don’t murmur and complain, 
don’t treat Me like the children of Israel did when I wanted to prepare them for the promise land. 
Remember they never entered into the rest I prepared for them.

  I want to give you perfect peace, but that will only happen when your mind is on Me. 
Don’t fellowship with thoughts from your past.  What I've done for others I will do for you. 
Remember, I am no respecter of persons. 
I want to do exceedingly, abundantly above anything your heart could desire. 

  Resist the thoughts and feelings of unworthiness that are keeping you in bondage. 
If you don’t stop allowing emotions to control you,
there will never be a place of rest for you. 
Cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalt
itself against the knowledge of Me and My ways.

  I have prepared a place for you, and it is a place of peace, and it is a place of joy. 
Come with me and enter into this rest. 
In this place you shall not want, you will find still waters, and green pastures. 
In this place you will find all you need in this place.

Allow My Spirit to lead and guide you into My wonderful rest. 
My Heart longs to be a hiding place for my people,
here I will preserve you from all your troubles , 
and we will sing songs of praise over your life.
Cease from your works and come and enter into My rest. 
I wait for you there, in your resting place.
