A Word from the Lord to Build Up, Encourage and Comfort

Is Your God Bigger than You Can Imagine?

We sing songs about God being an AWESOME God. We talk about His Glory and His Power. We even mention about the 'miraculous things' He has done. We talk about His Great Love.

But let's get practical today. Is your God bigger than all that confronts you today? Do you, today, believe that He is with you and will never leave you? He said He would never leave you! Today, what is that situation or decision that you must face? Do you believe that God has an answer for your important decision whether at work or at home, today? Do you believe that God, today, can help you in your very difficult situation that may seem hopeless to some of you? Maybe you just need strength today. Maybe it is comfort in a lonely situation today. Maybe it is peace for something you are about to face. Etc. Today, do you believe that God is right there with you and that, today, He wants to show you what He can do?

It is one thing to talk about an All Powerful God that we keep off in the distance somewhere in our thoughts. Some of us can even believe in a Supernatural God as long as it is projected to the past or the future. It is another thing to actually believe that He is right there with you right now and available for you today.

For many, perhaps most, we have kept God in a box. We surely don't want to do that, but if all you can believe He can do for you today can fit into your imagination, than you have Him in a box. Today, God is fully capable of figuring out an answer or meeting every impossible situation or decision! Actually, doing the impossible is God's specialty! This is actually Who God really IS! He has said to you "Without faith for the impossible, for something that is bigger than you can handle, it is impossible to please God!"

Today is your chance to please God! The first thing you really need to do is to focus your attention on God. Perhaps right where you are you can tell Him that you love Him and that you really desire to 'trust Him'. (If you need to go to the restroom or take a walk, do so, just take time to tell Him of your love!) Think for a moment of His greatness and remember a situation or someone else's situation where you saw God work! When you are focused on His Greatness and His Love, than take your situation or decision to Him and tell Him all about it. Let God come out of your box, so don't tell Him how you think He can work it out, just simply put your situation or decision in His Hand and 'leave it there!' He will guide you by His Peace as to what you are to do, or He will bring the answer to you in an unexpected way. He can supernaturally place inside of you His Strength, His Joy and His Peace. Don't put boundaries on what God can do or even a time limit. Let God be God and if you come to Him with your love from your heart and believe in Him with ALL of your heart, He will not fail you! But God has a difficult time working if limitations are put on Him. Unbelief, doubts and even hesitations shut off God's abilities. He works by Faith as a result of our love for and trust in Him!

Today, are you willing to come to God on His terms? Today, can you let God break through the box you have kept Him in? Today, do you know Him and love Him enough that you can have the 'Faith' that so pleases Him, operate in your life? This God, my God, (is He your 'type' of God) is a Supernatural God that never leaves me and delights in showing me Who He really IS! I can't figure my God out! He is so much bigger than I could ever even imagine! His Love for me is something I can't explain! I have found such a peace in taking my situations and decisions to Him and then do my part - obey His instructions (which just may not make any sense) and love Him with all of my heart!

There is nothing God won't do for a heart filled with love for Him and that trusts Him!
