A Word from the Lord to Build Up, Encourage and Comfort![]()
Walking Forward
Submitted by Jane Larsen
The
time of transition has not been easy. The
process has been hard. Many of you
have walked in valleys, some have trudged wearily up mountains, others have
hidden alone in caves, waiting to be transformed, waiting in your lonely and
hard place.
I tell you that this was for a reason, for there was much you carried with
you when you began the journey that you did not need.
You were weighted down, you were unable to focus for so great were the
cares you carried with you. Bit by bit you have dropped them along the
way. Bit by bit you have shed the
old and made room for the new. The
further you traveled, the closer you came to Me and all I have for you.
I
know this has been a long and hard season, where you have often felt you were
hanging on to air. I know that you
lifted your tearful face to Me in the place of silence that you were in, and
wondered why heaven was still, but I am never still.
I was transforming you; I was allowing you to let go of those things that held
you down, that imprisoned you, so you could come through, refined and pure,
perfect and strong, ready to walk the new walk, without the burdens of the
world.
Now you will walk straight, now you will walk tall. See, there is no
luggage on your shoulders, no burdens in your hands, now you are free.
Now you are free. There are places I will send you, the chosen ones, the
ones that have been in the valleys, on the mountains and in the caves.
There are places that call. You will speak to others who do not know Me,
who are in places of sadness and pain. You will carry hope, not despair.
There are those who are ill, who see no way to be cured, who you will touch in
My name, and who will find freedom from their ailments. Now you carry
healing.
There are those who are prisoners to sin, who think that is the only way, and
now you will go to them and carry the truth, for you know the truth. You have
met with the truth and the truth has set you free. Go; set others free in
My name. There are now no chains holding you back.
Look. Look at the you that you have become. The love that now burns in your heart, the strength that abides in you, the wisdom that your lonely journey has given you. Go, feed those that hunger, give to those who thirst, give to them from the brook of living water.
I have called you from the mountaintops, I have brought you from the deserts, I have carried you through the valleys and I have set you in a new place. Brush the dust from your cloak and walk on, lightened and healed, restored and refined and do not look back, for behind you is what you no longer need and before you is all that you will ever want.
