Stand
In Faith

Don't
doubt Me, child of Mine. I have demonstrated My goodness, My love and My
faithfulness to you over and over again. So do not doubt when things do not go
the way you expect. Just remain faithful and obedient to Me. When
circumstances go poorly for you, this is not a sign of My displeasure on you.
Child there are times when I allow things into your life for purposes that you
do not understand. There are times when I will allow you to experience
attack so that you can learn to war and to overcome the enemy of your soul.
There are times when I am silent to your cries for a season because I want you
to learn to stand in faith.
My nature does not change just because you are having a bad day. I do not stop
loving you just because you struggle in some area. I do not disqualify you from
My service just because you do poorly at one task. I do not become angry with
you when you become tired and discouraged. I do not disown you when you behave
in a way that requires My discipline.
I am your loving Father and I will always remain your loving Father. That is
part of My nature and that is Who I am. I do not change. Trust what you
know of Me and stop listening to the lies and accusations of the enemy.
Child, stop expecting Me to behave towards you like a human -- for I am not a
man and My ways are far above the ways of man. I am not fickle. I do not place
My calling and anointing on you and then yank it away because you do poorly in
one area. I do not throw away My faithful servants just because they feel
discouraged. I do not withdraw My presence from you just because you cannot feel
My nearness. When you walk though your desert, I walk alongside of you.
I do not abandon you. I am not a man and I will not fail you in the ways that
mankind fails one another.
Child, I have shown you My nature. I have demonstrated My love and My
forgiveness to you. I have adopted you into My family and I have put My
indwelling Spirit within you. I have shown you My faithfulness, I have
demonstrated My ability to take care of you and to work My glory in your
circumstances. Child, I do not change. Do not doubt My nature when things
do not go the way you desire. Circumstances cannot change Who I am, they cannot
change My nature. You have known My love and My faithfulness, so do not
doubt them. Stand in faith.
If you will look in My word, you will see that I have allowed many of My
most choice servants to go through difficulties and trials. That did not negate
My call or anointing on their lives, and difficulties will not negate My call on
your life, either.
Look at Abraham, who brought many family difficulties on himself by hearkening
to Sarah's request to father a son by Hagar. Did that negate My promise of
the son through which I would establish My people and all the nations of the
world would be blessed? Of course it did not. Look at My servant Joseph,
who was sold into slavery, falsely accused and thrown into jail. Did that negate
My destiny on his life? Of course it did not. Look at My servant Moses,
who jumped ahead of My timing to deliver one Hebrew slave from an abusive
master. Because of that, he had to endure forty years of exile as a fugitive for
murder. Did that negate My call on His life? Of course it did not. I
found him and brought him back and caused him to be the deliverer of My people.
Child of Mine, don't let the circumstances that surround you effect your faith
in Me. Do not allow them to effect your sense of well-being or your
relationship with Me. Do not allow circumstances to define you. Instead,
look to Who I am; look to My character and nature. Look at what I have already
done for you in your life and know that I am able to do all things for you.
Know that I am faithful and that My nature does not change. Look to Me and trust
Me and you will not be disappointed.
Stand in faith, child of Mine, for I am faithful.
