A Word from the Lord to Build Up, Encourage and Comfort

It is Clean-up Time in our Lives!

God wants to do a "new thing' on this earth. He wants to demonstrate Who He really Is and His Great Glory and Power! He needs vessels He can work through. Are you ready? Do you even want to be such a 'vessel'?

God just showed me that it is time that we get serious about Him and Who He really Is! We must get to KNOW Him and learn to obey Him in ALL of our ways. This is Biblical and is expected of us as a 'child of God'!

I know in my own life God has been 'fine tuning' me, getting me ready for the destiny that He has for me. Through this 'fine tuning' process, I have been amazed at how slack we can become in our Christian life.

I want to challenge you in some areas today, areas that have a guarantee to keep you weak and without joy in your so called Christian life. You can't mature and grow into what God desires for you with any of these things in your life. You are stuck and rather unhappy and don't find the 'joy' that God has for you. We need to 'clean – up our so called Christian life'!

Stop today and check your relationship with God!
1. Do you really believe that God does love you?
If not, you are not walking in the TRUTH that God has for you!
2. Do you really and truly love God? If so, have you demonstrated that by surrendering your life to Him completely?
3. Do you live feeling 'unworthy' of God's love or that He would really be concerned about you? If so, it is a lie from the devil. The Bible is TRUTH!
4. Do you spend time with Him personally? How often? Daily? Weekly? Monthly? Seldom?
5. Do you really believe that you can hear His Voice and if so, do you 'trust' that you hear Him correctly? If not, you are so weakened in your 'faith'.
6. What place does 'fear', 'doubt', unbelief' have in your life? Or do you 'absolutely, confidently trust God'?
7. Do you understand Who was placed within you at your salvation experience? The very Holy Spirit of God? Is He allowed to be activated in your life and be your Comforter, Counsellor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Teacher? Is He in close fellowship with you? He is supposed to be!
8. Do you really believe that God will meet your every need or do you just 'hope' that He will show up?
9. How about the 'destiny call' that you feel deep within? Do you believe that the God who put that within you can bring it to pass despite what things look like at the present?

I am sure that you can add more things to this generic list. But it is long enough to show us that we are surely falling short of what God intends for us. We have allowed our lives to be filled with deception, things from the enemy, the destroyer of our life! Is it any wonder that we are 'weak' and 'lack joy and peace'?

God says "It is time to clean-up our lives and get serious about Him!"

We need to repent of each area that we have fallen short in. Repent means "God, I am so sorry that I have fallen short in these areas and help me change my ways to line up with your ways for me!" Then we actively need to pursue God on a level of TRUTH, the TRUTH from His Word. Don't worry! If you have truly repented, God will rush in and help you clean-up your life. He will show you areas that need to be changed and don't be surprised at a few things that will show up in your life and are intended to be 'things' that will help you 'draw close to Him'.

God wants you to live your life to the fullest and that is 'abundantly' filled with His Love, His Pleasures, Joy and Peace! Does this describe you at the present? If not, let's get to work! Oh what is coming will be beyond words to describe. God needs you clean so you can be a 'vessel' He can use to demonstrate to the world His Glory!
