Choose God and You Will Breakthrough to Victory!

Our God is Worthy of ALL of our Praise! There is no way that we could Praise Him too much! He is deserving of continual Praise. God made us. We are His Creation! If it were not for God we would not be here! Then when we failed because of sin He, because of His Great Love for us, sent His very own Son to pay the price for our sins so that our fellowship could be restored with Him and so that we could come home to heaven to spend ALL of eternity, forever and ever with Him. God really loves us. He does
really love you!

God delights in you and He so longs for you to understand this and reach out to Him and let Him be not only God, but your Father and your Friend. He wants you to enjoy life to its fullest. (John 10:10) That is God's plan and purpose for you. If you are not living that kind of life, than you need to stop and evaluate your life.

This verse says that the devil comes as a thief in order to kill and destroy your joy and if possible your very life. The devil does not want you to experience God's love and fullness for you. But the verse continues with the TRUTH - the opposite of the devil. BUT I (Jesus) have come that you may have and enjoy an abundant life.

Which life are you choosing? I know your first response will be - God's, of course. But are you really? God's Word is true and if you are really choosing Him you will experience an abundant life. That does not mean that you will not have trials, difficulties or struggles. But it does mean that you will face these difficult times pressing into God and hanging onto Him. The devil comes at these times to steal your joy and your trust in God. That is the devil's job. He wants to destroy what God has for you!

Whom you choose to believe at these times will make the difference in the kind of life that you will live. The trouble is that many have for so long just yielded to the lies of the devil and have not taken time to change those lies around into the TRUTH. We want to, but the opposition, which is of the devil, has gotten control of our flesh and we don't want to or just don't take the energy and the time to simply choose to speak out the TRUTH. The longer we have done this, the harder it is to choose God over the lies of the devil. Actually, many have become comfortable in their misery. They don't like it, but it is familiar to them and so they simply yield to the flesh. They have been convinced it is the way that God has for them and that they will perhaps learn lessons from it. Or maybe God just doesn't really love them, or they are not deserving of God's love, etc., etc. Do any of these statements sound like God? NO! Absolutely not! If you believe any of this trash, than my friend, you are deceived!

I know there is Victory for you and that you do not have to stay in misery, hopelessness or depression. The TRUTH of the Word is that God loves you and desires that you enjoy life to the fullest! Now there are some cases that need to have counseling or deliverance, but most likely that is not you! Most likely you just need to rise up and declare victory and choose God! Tell Him that you love Him. Repent of listening to the lies of the devil. Remember 'repent' really means 'changing your ways', it is not merely 'I am sorry'). Then change those lies into the TRUTH of what God really says about you and choose to believe the TRUTH! 

Take time even though you will not feel like it and worship God, either with your words or by listening to a 'worshipful CD or tape' or reading from the book of Psalms in your Bible. Continue to do this until you 'press through' (breakthrough) to Victory! Come against every lie that the devil will try to insert into your mind by simply turning it into a TRUTH and speak the TRUTH out. Don't give any time to the devil. Ignore Him and speak out to God and tell Him how much you love and trust Him. Do this as often as you need to until you sense a lifting of the 'burden' over you and 'Joy, God's Joy' coming into your heart!

My friend, it is so worth the effort this takes. The effort is only a battle against the liar, the devil. The reward is a 'breakthrough to Victory'! Once you have done this, you will know that it works and choose to do it every time misery, hopelessness, depression, etc. tries to get a hold of you.

The TRUTH is that God loves you. He really does. He delights in you and it causes Him grief when you do not reach out to Him, the TRUTH! God is for you, He is not against you!!! Everything about God is for you! BUT you must choose HIM. Draw close to Him and then He will come close to you. That is how God works! Rise up today and Choose God! Victory is in this choice!
