A Word from the Lord to Build Up, Encourage and Comfort

Can You Believe the Words that God has Spoken to You?

Has God given you a word about your destiny? Do you know what it is? Some of you may have had a prophetic word from God spoken over you giving you direction. Others may have clearly heard God speak to you about His plan and purpose for your life. Others may have a very strong sense in your heart about what your future is. Others may have a specific dream or desire that just hangs on and oh how you desire to get to that place where it will come to pass.

Did you know that God's real plan for your life is much bigger than you can do by yourself? In Ephesians 3:20 we read that God is able to carry out His plan and purpose for you and do superabundantly, far over and above all that you would ever dare to ask of Him or even think He could do. He can do infinitely beyond your greatest prayer, desires, thoughts, what you can imagine, hope or dream.

Whatever it is that God has spoken to you or revealed to you is possible! It most likely seems impossible. God seems to enjoy giving us desires that exceed human limitation. For many, that desire or dream or word lies dormant and can even die within you, just because it seems so unreal and hasn't come to pass yet.

You may have been through a traumatic experience and gave up hope, while God really meant to turn that situation around and make it a training ground for your future. How can we handle that dream within us without being trained and come to a greater understanding of God and recognize how much we must depend upon Him? If we don't learn to absolutely depend upon God, we will not fully lean upon Him but will try to mix our plans with God's. In that condition, we will limit what God can and wants to do for and through you.

We have talked about the importance of the spoken words out of your mouth. I want to challenge you to wake up that dream that lies down with you with your words. Speak out that dream or desire. Stir it up! Believe that there is still life in it. You haven't missed it. The devil wants you to believe that you have missed it, but not God. Philippians 4:6 says:

"He who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ, developing that good work and perfecting and bringing it all to full completion in you."

Sunday I was at a church service and was amazed at the people in this wonderful church, that is expecting God to move in mighty ways, that came forward when the pastor asked how many had dreams and desires that were unfulfilled and seemingly dead. They were discouraged and almost fainting because their hope was so low. My heart just went out to all of you that might feel the same way. Please listen! It is not too late for your dream or vision to come to pass! You have not missed it! God desires that you fulfill what He has placed within you more than you will ever desire to fulfill it! He is just waiting for you to believe that it is possible! My challenge to you is to stir it up. Speak life into it, not death! Life! It can come to life by your spoken word! There is power in your words! Try it! Just try it! God wants to make your future days more fulfilling than any day you have yet experienced. This is our God and His desire for you!
