Beauty
For Ashes
Musa Opiyo
I the Lord am giving
beauty for ashes. I am changing the old tattered garments stained with sin, past
guilt and shame and replacing them with new robes of righteousness. You shall
not be held back by the past. What was done was done. Today, My Most Holy Spirit
says, Today, if you will hear My voice, do not harden your hearts in rebellion
as did the children of Israel. I am making a new way for My people. I am
teaching you faith in Me and renewing your resolve to come up higher. My Spirit
is doing new things at this present time, and they can only be done through
vessels who have washed themselves in My River and in My Word, armies of men and
women who have said yes and have made themselves available to be used by the
Spirit. To these people I say, I am exchanging beauty for ashes.
During your time of preparation I have burnt with My Holy Fire things that were
not of Me. Old friends, relationships and alliances have come under close
inspection and what was not of Me was all wood, hay and stubble that was
consumed by My Fire. So many of My children have laid their possessions, their
jobs, callings, gifts and ministries upon My altar signifying their willingness
to surrender all to Me. Some I have dealt with so severely that by the time you
were through, it was though there was nothing left. You have looked to Me
holding the ashes, and to you now I say I am doing an exchange. I shall
replenish that which was stolen by the enemy. What you have surrendered to Me
has not been in vain for I shall equip you with something even better than you
expected.
Remain faithful. Do not look at what you have and say it is not much, for surely
what you have given, I shall give you back a hundred fold. I shall fill your
lives with Joy and Peace that you have not comprehended before. Your ministries
and harvest fields will take a new turn as you see Me work through you more
effective than ever. Come under the shadow of My wing and take refuge.
Job 42: 12a So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than the
beginning....
