God Inhabits Our Praises

I woke up this morning with this verse on my mind! "God inhabits our praises." God placed it there! There is a lot on my mind and a lot of opposition from the enemy coming against me in very strong ways! God wanted me to remember what I so often tell others! He inhabits our praises! I guess He was saying to me - "I also inhabit your praises! Don't forget that!"

Immediately I began to say right there in my bed, "God, I so love You! Jesus, I so love You! Oh, Holy Spirit, I love You!" Instantly my heart filled with such a peace and love from my Loving Father! All those 'spirits' that were so attacking my mind and trying to get me down, left! They just left! The confidence and trust in God, that was being so strongly attacked, once again just so filled me! Awesome!

This is what God wants to do for us and be for us continually! There is no magic formula in those words and I can't tell you that just by saying them that your situation will so simply change. I must tell you that I came against those 'spirits' in the Name of Jesus. I was in a warfare and I was determined to not let the devil get victory and bring me down! These last few days have found me in tears and so praying and crying out to my God! As I would go to bed at nights I would just ask God to please wash my mind with the 'blood of Jesus'. I would take time every morning and sit in the Presence of God, listening to praise and worship music and go to bed at nights with it playing. I was doing my part.

This morning God was just telling me that if I would just praise Him, I would find that He had done His part and that 'victory' was waiting for me! It was that simple! How wonderful to have the confidence and absolute trust in my God so marvelously restored.

We must understand that the devil is like a roaring lion and he is out there to destroy. He can do it in many ways, but one of the most subtle ways is in our minds! The devil especially attacks those whom God is able to deal with, those that hunger and thirst to know Him more and learn of His ways! If we are not careful, the devil finds a way in through just a 'question in our mind'. Often what God requires us to do as we follow Him, are not our ways and often seem illogical. That is why many people can't believe it is God speaking to them. So when we just merely give room to even just a 'question' (doubt), the devil rushes in and works on our minds.

But the Word says, the TRUTH is, that God inhabits our praises! So if we will come to Him in the midst of the attack against us and praise and worship God, we will find 'victory' at our doorstep! As we praise God, God is able to direct us.
